Our busy/crazy/fun weekend...

Every weekend we say we are just going to relax and hang out, yet it never seems to turn out that way! :)

On Friday I had some some clients to highlight, so I went over to the A household. I have been doing their hair for a few years now, I cannot believe they are getting so big. I feel old now!! After highlighting mom & daughters hair I headed out to the NRH to do my friends hair. We all met at Megs house and I cut and colored Meg's hair, cut the back of Dianthe's hair, cut and colored Heathers hair and then we all peer pressured Kelly into letting me cut her hair off. They all look super cute, if I do say so myself. After cutting, we sat around Meg's kitchen talking till 2am! YIKES, it was a long drive home that night. Thankfully I have a wonderful husband who let me sleep in and he dealt with the boys that morning.

On Saturday we cleaned around the house, did laundry then went out to lunch with the boys. After lunch we all came home and took a well deserved nap. I didn't realize how tired I still was till I laid down. Ethan fought his nap and then finally passed out and slept till I woke him up around 5:30. Then we were off to Cracker Barrel to meet mom and dad for dinner. Heather and Ryan also met us. Ethan has declared Ryan is his new best friend and he wants to have a sleepover with him. HA!

After dinner mom and dad went home and we went to Rooms to Go and looked at a new couch for our living room. We all sat on it and Ethan and Ryan deemed it *Nap Worthy*

Then it was off to GVM, where we shopped till the mall was closing at 9:30. Got home, put both boys to bed and we all crashed. Aiden slept through the night again, not waking up till 6:15 the next morning!!!

Sunday was church and a good bye to our friends the Olson's. They are heading back up north to fund raise for their mission trip back to Africa. After church we went out to eat again with mom, dad, Phillip and Jessica at the *spinney door restaurant* (Carinos for everyone else)

Then I dragged Seth over to Rooms to Go to look at the new couch. We want to get it, but we have to sell our current couches and tables first. Know anyone who needs a set? :)

No more mommy body!

I refuse to have the "mom" body anymore! I have been working out 3 times a week and I am walking with the boys a few times a week as well. I have also been doing WW and not eating out as much. As of right now I have gone down 2 almost 3 dress sizes, yipee!! I am almost at the point where I need to go buy new workout clothes, they are starting to get too big on me and falling off when I am working out, not good!! While they are NOT the cutest shoes around, they are so comfortable and much better than those ugly crocs people insist on wearing out in public. I plan on wearing mine to the park, walking around the house, and days when I am going to be doing a ton of walking. I might even wear them to DS so all my friends can get a sneak peek (Shout out to Jess B, I know you love them!!)

Sleep....it's a wonderful thing...

Well Aiden slept through the night last night and I feel like a new person!! He went to bed at 7:00 and he woke up at 4:30. Thankfully my wonderful husband woke up with him at that point and fed him his bottle. I was getting up at 5:30 to go work out, so I wanted every little bit of sleep that I could get!
After he sucked down 6oz, Seth said he went right back to sleep and as of right now, 7:40, he is still asleep! I hope this turns into a lovely trend with him. I told him all the cool kids are sleeping though the night. :)

Ethanisms

Ethanisms is my new word for all the funny stuff that comes out of his mouth. Sometimes he makes me laugh so hard...

~Mommy, can you just sit on the couch and let me play like a boy right here?

~Mommy! Aiden wants me to have some fruit snacks, can you get me some?

~Oh mom, its so pretty out here (backyard) I think we should go get our camera and take a picture.

~But MOM, Grandma lets me have whatever I want.

~Aiden needs a bottle then bed mom, a bottle then bed. Go do that.

~"I want to go to the store and buy you something mom. " "What do you want to get me Ethan? "Track and fast cars mommy, you will love it!" Some how I think he would love it more than me!

And things *I* never thought would come from my mouth:

~ETHAN, put your ***** back in your pull up!

~Ethan, get your hands out of your pull up!

~No Ethan, you cannot see her mipples!

~No Ethan you may not smell peoples booty's!

Every day is an adventure with the boys, but I love every minute of it and wouldn't give it up for the world.

Play Date?

Apparently Ethan and his friend Jake decided today would be the day that Ethan goes over to his house to play. Neither boy check ed with his mom, but they told anyone ad everyone at their school that Ethan was coming over to play after school today. Needless to say, Ethan was very disappointed when I showed up to not only bring him home, but put him down for a nap! What a mean mommy I am. We did find out that Jake lives a few blocks away in our neighborhood, so I think I will have to talk to his mommy on Thursday and maybe set up a play date at the park soon.
When did my little baby grow up and start planning play dates for himself? I thought he wasn't supposed to do that till he was much older!!

Birthday Party...

Well I survived. I only called my mom one time to check on Aiden. Then I had a great time with all my friends drinking bellini's and dancing to music. I then proceeded to sleep through the night. Unfortunately Aiden had other plans. When dad called us this morning he told us that Aiden was up every 3hrs last night. OMG! Where is our baby that we sent over last night. Cause he hasn't done that since he was born! I feel so bad, I really hope it was just the change in scenery and not being familiar with their crib. I will update later today with pictures, I can't find my camera cable at this moment....

Bluebonnets in Texas

If you live in Texas, it almost a requirement that you take your children's pictures in the bluebonnets each spring. This year we have had some crazy weather, so the flower fields were not as full as usual, but we were still able to get a few good shots of the boys...

So it begins...

I started a blog when Aiden was born, but I have forgotten the log in information, oops! So I am just starting over fresh. My little baby is 3 months old today and he has started to laugh! He has been smiling for a while now, but we are now able to tickle him and he will laugh out loud. I think it might be the best sound in the world. Ethan and I had so much fun with him the other day, just making him laugh.
Saturday is a big day for me, its the first time I am going to be away from Ethan and Aiden overnight. Seth is having a birthday party here at the house for me, and since we are planning on drinking and having loud music, it just wouldn't be a place for a baby or 3yr old. So off to grandma & papa's house. I have mixed feelings about it... On one hand, I am happy to have a full nights sleep!! But on the other hand I am really going to miss my guys, I don't know if I am really ready to leave Aiden for a night. I will let you know how I do!
