I keep forgetting to post this!!

Check out the calendar baby for August. We don't know for sure if he made the printed calendar, but hey online if fun too!

Aiden is an overachiever!

*MOST* babies have one tooth come in at a time, my child however is an apparent overachiever! He woke up this morning smiling, happy and with TWO more teeth that he had when he went to bed last night! For the record he went to bed with no teeth. :)
He has been chomping on everything today, even his hand, which he was not happy about. He went from happy drooly baby to screaming, OMG what have I done to myself baby! Here are a few pictures, its hard to see, but those faint white lines are the teeth!

She has struck again....

If you recall, back in June, Lacey gave me a lovely gift. I told Seth about it and told him that we HAD to check her mouth every time she comes back into the house. Well today around 11:30 she finally was starting to get up and move from the couch where she had been sleeping all morning. She started playing with something and all of a sudden she dropped it and I got a look at what it was, yep a baby squirrel! AHHHHH, this dog is going to kill me! Ethan and I were running around in circles screaming like little girls. I finally composed myself and picked it up with a baby wipe in a ziploc bag and tossed it outside.
Point of the story: This could have been avoided if Seth had checked her mouth this morning. Ewww, I am still shuddering....

Happy Tree

I loved watching Bob Ross paint when I was younger. I would always *try* to copy what he did, he made it look MUCH easier than it actually was! So when I saw this diaper on DS, I had to snag it up! In case its not clear, it says Happy Trees

Ummm, he pulled himself up like this, he is going to be crawling in no time, YIKES!!

It was summertime in northern Michigan....

Oh.My.Goodness.
We had soooo much fun! I seriously wanted to cry when I woke up Saturday morning, cause I knew we were about to drive to the airport to come home. I just love being with my family up there, especially the *party aunts* :)
Although we had a lot of rain, we didn't let it dampen our party, and every evening we were able to have a campfire except for one night, when the wood was just too wet. So we moved the party into the garage that night. We stayed up late every night, till 3 am!!, and had so much fun just talking. Its amazing that we can be apart for a year or more, yet when we are back together, its like we never left! I miss everyone already and I am anxiously awaiting next years trip, South Carolina here we come!!
PS: We miss you Tootsie!!

I know, I know!!

I have been back a week now and I have no pictures or stories up yet. Well Aiden and I both came back sick and we are both finally back to normal. As for pictures, well I had over 1500 to go through, so I have been doing a little each day. I am planning on blogging a lot over tonight and tomorrow so be ready to read and COMMENT!
But for now I will leave you with a super cute picture of Aiden we took at DFW, right before we were about to get on the first flight, sweet baby boy!

It is now 11:51 and we are getting up to leave for the airport at 4:15am. yet I am wide awake and re-packing our stuff, I hate the night before a trip!

One more day!!!

I am now as excited as Ethan is to leave! I just finished packing up both boys, and besides a load of diapers I have to wash for Aiden tomorrow, we are all set. I didn't realize how much stuff there is to pack with TWO kids, yikes! Whatever I don't remember we can pick up at the local Target on our way up to the lake house.
Here is a picture of a lot of the family that we will be seeing this week, its from Thanksgiving this past year, so please excuse my fat bloated face, I was 8 months pg!

6 days!

Ethan woke up this morning and did a little dance when he looked at his calendar and realized we were leaving for Michigan THIS week! I may have done a little dance with him as well! I have been checking out the weather up there, high of 81, low of 56, yes please!

It's Official!!!

Ethan is POTTY TRAINED!!!!!!!!!!
No accidents at night or nap time. In fact yesterday we heard him walking around in his room and hallway during nap time and I was about to turn into mean mom and tell him to get back into bed. As I started walking up stairs I realize he is in the bathroom. He looks at me and says"Mommy, I had to go poop, so I can in and went!" WOW, that made me so proud. I guess everyone was right, when he was ready he would go!! As a *reward* Ethan got to get a new bike and an American Idol party. I have NO idea where the American Idol part came into play, he just asked us if he could have an AI party when he was potty trained and we agreed! Grandma, PaPa, Uncle Jarod all came over to help celebrate.
Here are some pictures of his party, and yes that is a 3 candle in his cupcake. He insisted on a candle and we all sang "Happy Pottty Party to you!" Yes, I know you are rolling your eyes. But the whole cost of the party was less than $10, MUCH cheaper than a case of pull ups! :)

Newest baby in our house...

Ha ha, no I am NOT pregnant, but we are having a new arrival any day no win our house. Seth bought me us a new camera! It should be arriving the day before we leave on our trip to Michigan, I can't wait!!
