I have been going back and forth about posting this, just cause I didn't want to face it and I thought that if I just didn't say anything then it wouldn't be true. But its not the case because it has been keeping me up at night and making me sick to my stomach.
Aiden's little head is very flat on the back and it looks like we are going to have him in a helmet for about 3 months. I am so upset about it and I keep looking at things I did and if I could have done anything different with him. With him being so sick in the few few months, we had to constantly keep him propped up at all times. So he slept in his swing, carseat, and bouncy chair. Well all of that did not help with his head. I carry him in a sling most of the day, but the damage has been done. We take Aiden to the specialist on Friday at 1:15, so if you could just keep us in your thoughts and prayers, I would greatly appreciate it. My little guys has seen WAY too many specialists, doctors and hospitals in his short four months. :(

you guys will be in our thoughts, jess. poor little aiden - he's been through a lot, and come through with flying colors, so keep your good mom chin up. :)
Aw...poor Aiden. Just try to focus on the positive...he will have the roundest, cutest baby head ever when it's all done with. Keep you in my prayers that all goes well next week.
Poor little guy. We'll definitely say some prayers. We're visiting family right now and their baby just finished with his helmet and he did awesome. I'm sure the same will happen for Aiden. All of this will make him extra tough for future fights with his big brother!
You are a good mommy, so good that you take Aiden to doctors and specialists. It will feel like forever to you but remember it is merely a blip on the radar and one he won't even remember.
You are a great mom Jess, Aiden and Ethan are smart, adorable boys! We will definitely be thinking about you guys, I can't imagine how tough this is for you right now. PLEASE let me know if you need anything, really.
I can promise you everything will be ok. I felt this same way, and now it seems like such a long time ago that Jack was in his band. They initially told us 3 months too, and Jack's head was VERY flat. He graduated after six weeks! I will pray for fast growth and continued strength. If you need ANYTHING, e-mail me and I will be there!
Kitcat wanted me to tell you that she thinks that her boyfriend Aiden is cute and that she didn't care what his head looks like. He made her laugh and she can't stop talking about him :)
I will definitely keep Aiden and all of you in my thoughts and prayers. Just know that you are doing what is best for his health and that is the most important thing. I am sure that things will go smoothly and he will be out of the helmet in no time!
..and this too shall pass...
